Maine Center for Disease Control and Prevention – Drinking Water Program has announced they have filled the position of Director.
Amy LaChance a native of Maine is returning to the State with over 30+ years of experience in drinking water regulation. Amy is graduate student of Michigan and is a former regulatory with Michigan Drinking Water and Environmental Health Division. While employed there she held the positions of District Supervisor, Community Water Supply Chief, and Assistant Director for Michigan Drinking Water and Environmental Health Division. Amy is currently employed as the Drinking Water Chief of the Northeast Section of Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection. Her start date for the Maine Drinking Water program is February 22, 2021. Please join us in welcoming Amy home to Maine.
