MWUA News

The Maine Water Utilities Association wishes our partners across the water profession a great start to your summer!

We have some excellent events coming up for the Summer of 2026 — in addition to technical trainings, we have some seasonal favorites like our Summer Outing (@ Lost Valley) and our Annual Golf Scramble for Charity (we’re also returning to Val Halla) in August. We’re also pleased to announce the venue for our Drinking Water Seminar in early September will be Maple Hill Farm in Hallowell.

In other (very good) news, we’re thrilled to be able to introduce Christine Dunn to our members! Christine has started serving as our new Program & Event Manager as of today, 6/29. She is based in Central Maine, where she and her husband have lived for the past year since moving up from the Boston area. Christine earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management from Nichols College, and most recently earned her Master’s of Education in Educational Leadership & Policy from the Lynch School of Education & Human Development, Boston College. Christine also shares,

“I serve as a volunteer firefighter with the Mt. Vernon Fire Department. I have training and events experience ranging from the hotel industry to graduate admissions. Assisting my community is one of my core values, and I look forward to continuing that in this role.”

We look forward to seeing you soon!

— Christine, Molly & Ed
