Dear Members,
On October 12th, Maine Water Utilities Association members who were present at our bi-monthly business meeting in Brewer voted to approve adjustments to membership dues, effective January 1, 2024. As stated at the meeting, inflationary pressures are driving the need for the adjustments and the MWUA Board feels that it’s better to increase in 2024, rather than wait for larger and more impactful increases in later years. These adjustments in membership dues include:
- a 10 % increase to Corporate Membership dues,
- an increase to Associate Membership dues from $300 to $500
- changing Affiliate Membership dues from $50 per individual to $500 per individual or organization
