Your Input Needed on Infrastructure Workforce Needs
Maine is fortunate to be experiencing a once-in-a-generation influx of federal funding to advance our infrastructure and climate resiliency goals. To maximize on this opportunity, Maine needs a skilled and robust infrastructure workforce.
To better understand and support industry partners in meeting key infrastructure workforce needs over the coming years, The Maine Department of Labor (MDOL) is asking for your input on its Infrastructure Workforce Needs Survey by Friday, July 7th. The survey should take 10-15 minutes to complete.
MDOL is requesting information about employers’ key recruitment and training needs from Industry Associations, General Contractors, Specialized-Sub-Contractors, Labor Unions and State Agencies to inform training and workforce investment recommendations.
All data provided will be reported in aggregate and not individually attributed to any specific company or organization. If there are multiple locations, branches or divisions within your company, please aggregate the responses and respond once to help reduce duplication of labor needs and increase accuracy.
If you have any questions, please reach out to Samantha Dina (Samantha.dina@maine.gov).
Thank you for helping us better understand your anticipated workforce needs for current and future infrastructure projects.
